Weโve been busy these past few monthsโฆ from training students in Spring Branch ISD ๐๐ to providing seniors with CPR and other quick lifeโsaving skills โค๏ธโ๐ฉน๐, working with EMS professionals at the Fort Bend County EMS Symposium ๐จ๐ฉบ, and collaborating with teams in CyโFair, Colorado County, Sugar Land, and more ๐.
Our team has been out supporting CE programs, community outreach, and SIM competitions across the region ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฅ.

Our program had a strong showing at this yearโs 2026 Texas College of Emergency Physicians (TCEP) CONNECT Conference in Rockwall, TX! ๐โจ
A big congratulations to incoming Chief Resident, Abbey Berka, DO, who was elected as the Resident Representative to the TCEP Board of Directors. Abbey will also serve as one of our Chief Residents during her final year of residency training. ๐๐
Weโd also like to recognize Chief Resident, Cait Minutella, MD, for receiving the Michael Wainscott Legacy Award ๐, and Ryan Johnson, MD, for his service as the outgoing Resident Representative to the TCEP Board. ๐
Our residents and faculty were also heavily involved throughout the conference, with poster presentations from Briana Williams, MD, and Serena Meng, MD, and Ryan ๐, while Drs. Katy Larimore, Dorian Alexander, Jessica Wilson, Brandon O'Keefe, Carolyn Gardiner, and Chief Resident Ryan Johnson contributed through conference speaking sessions, ultrasound education, and hands-on teaching for learners exploring point-of-care ultrasound. ๐ฉบ๐
