I found an old piece of wood on the side of of the road. The lady who lived at the home said that the names and dates were from the 1970s when her husband had a deer lease up north. Every time someone shot a deer they would put their name and the day of the kill. After he closed down the deer lease he used the wood in his garage for a shelf. She was moving so she threw the wood to the curb. I found it. It is Cedar. The oldest day that I could still read was 1972. That 52 years ago. I made a beautiful dog feeder. It’s so cool to see something that old that can still have so much beauty if you just look at what can be and not just what you currently see.

Starting a new venture. The other day while walking my dog a very mean sounding pit bull came running down someone’s driveway at my dog,I had no defense. So I thought I needed a walking stick. Not to hit the dog but something to put between any animal that might change at me. Thankfully tha dog was all bark and no bite so all is well. However the next time I might not be so blessed to have that outcome.
The walking sticks are very helpful on steep inclines and they’re very light and easy to walk with. If you would like me to make one of you send me a message and we can discuss details.
