BiSN makes key global appointment - BiSN BiSN's Wel-lok M2M technology has been deployed via E-line with Altus Intervention in AkerBP’s Valhall A-30 well in the Norwegian North Sea.

We’re continuously looking for smart and innovative ways to overcoming specific issues, and a plug and abandonment application on the Norwegian continental shelf back in 2018 was a perfect example of this.

The well required a gas tight seal and to do this we needed to go against traditional methods of circulating cement balance plugs to ensure the well was completely free of pressure and gas.

By setting our Wel-lok M2M STC tool in to the well and providing isolation in the 5 ½ x 9 5/8 annulus, we proved that our technology could be utilized for annular isolation in multiple sized completions.
