If the city, the county, or any organization isn’t sure who owns a cemetery who takes care of it? I’ll tell you. NO ONE UNTIL NOW. Dozens of community members spent all day in the sun mowing the grass, cutting overgrown branches raking leaves to beautify a cemetery that has been neglected for years. The plan is to keep it going, but they need help at the historic Oak Park cemetery in Houston.

Elementary school parents waiting outside in anticipation to see their children after getting an email about a bomb threat.
This is the email one parent showed me before she ran across the street to the school

“Dear Parent or Guardian,
As of 8:48 am, Walnut Bend Elementary School has been placed in Hold due to a bomb threat.
As a precaution, students and staff are asked to remain in their classrooms in order to keep the hallways empty. Classroom learning will continue throughout the Hold, but students will not be able to change classes.
Additionally, Houston ISD Police Department is on site conducting a systematic sweep. Walnut Bend Elementary School will remain in a Hold during this standard process.
The safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you further as soon as we have more information.”

Both sides have rested after a rebuttal witness from the state and after defense calls an election law experts who says previous campaign finance reports submitted by Fort Bend County Judge KP George were accurate to his knowledge. Says, there are no missing loans from George, because the evidence of the loans presented in court happened in the prior reporting period.
-The witness says reports that prosecutors only have 18% of the whole campaign financial story and to get the total amount of campaign funds missing we need to see. He says Says its hugely important for them to look at all the files, because 300 days of reporting is missing which means 82% of the year of missing.
-Says he thinks the state should give George the benefit of the doubt
However, the state who is now cross examining the witness says he is biased to the defense and plans to show video and audio proof of the county judge allegedly admitting in his native language to where the money went.
