Featured Speaker, Passport Journeys Founder , and author Lacey Tezino told a story about the unimaginable loss of her mother to cancer. She discussed the moment that she realized that love was about sacrifice and the act of giving without the expectation of receiving anything in return. Lacey artfully brought us into her story and scenarios with her mother to such an extent that we literally felt like we were in the car, bathroom and room as she processed her journey to acceptance, healing and celebration of their mother/daughter bond. Lacey honors her mother through her mental health app, book and beautiful storytelling.
