This has been one of our more popular builds this year!

Shower tile 🤩 the way the light crosses them 🙌🏽 We used these tiles in our house, and had to experience them again. This time we used them in both showers, and the large black tile for the flooring. The gold warms them up JUST right 👌🏽

We're officially under contract!!

Praying that all continues to go well and the new family can start making memories in their new home soon.

To celebrate - we're diving into some of the details we chose for this house, starting with the countertops.

We were inspired by a design shared by the Gaines' family (😍) that included all black lower cabinets & upper white cabinets. These are quartz counters, sturdy & smooth. We were so close to changing the island to a safer white option... and it turns out this is one of the details we get the most excitement about.

We're trying our best to create something unique, semi-custom & eye-catching. We hope you love it!

✨✨Cutest & Coolest little house in the country now for sale✨✨

We got back on track this year after taking a little break to build our house (that we sold 😭😅).

We love changing things up, bringing in new ideas and taking (some) risks… while trying to keep prices affordable & working with Dwelling Designs LLC to create thoughtful floor plans.

An idea came to life with their help, and thanks to countless hours and dedication from our team we can walk around in an idea. God is good!

We took some design elements from our house and made it smaller. Black/white/gold/brown color scheme… and we brought the idea of the sunroom to the kitchen 🤩 I’ve always loved big window walls above sinks… my favorite part of this house. Since that calls for less storage, we brought in as many cabinets & drawers as we could. And then… the black island 😍

We ALMOST changed our minds. And we would have regretted it. This island is such a fun statement, and the lights above brought in the warmth needed to balance it out along with the gold hardware.

This is also our first time ordering a white porcelain farm sink, and I’m loving it. It brings continuity to the white countertops, making for a smooth transition.

We used the same tiles for the two bathrooms, large format grey & black with gold hardware. The crisp white paint throughout the whole house is BRIGHT. Our choice of dark flooring helped cozy up the feel and went so well with the black cabinetry.

Overall, the house came out better than we thought! We’re happy to offer it to our next family and keep moving forward 🥰🙌🏽 so many exciting things! Tell us what you think!

As we’re gearing up for our next build, I thought it would be interesting to share the thought process before we start construction. Before we send anything to our architect, we like to have a clear idea of the design style and square footage parameters. As a small home builder, we are constantly watching the market and strategizing the next project based on potential buyer profiles, anticipated interest rates, local sales, lot sizes, etc. This is probably one of the most important processes, as all these factors dictate the scope of the product that we will design.

Our next project is on a 1 acre lot that has a very beautiful back yard view of 100 acres surrounding it on 3 sides. We wanted to take advantage of this by making sure that the home consisted of great views from the moment you walk in the door. Our idea is to create a window wall in the kitchen that spans the entire length of the back wall. This is risky, as it takes away upper cabinet space… So we hope to solve that issue by including TONS of lower cabinets. We want this project to be modern & unique while staying under 1550 sqft, based on our target buyer profile. Something AMAZING, but small enough to be cozy AND affordable.

One night, Javid worked up until 2am mapping out the initial layout/design. We review tons of floor plans and elevations for ideas… but at the end of the day we always want to create something more unique. Here is what we came up with! This is a general sketch that we send to our architect for their review, feedback and official design work. At this stage we are always flexible, accepting all feedback and adjusting things to create a great end-product. This by no means will be the final design… but it is one huge step towards it 💪🏽
