Huddle Up

A friend of mine, once a week sends me (and a select few) a "saying" from one source or another. This week was:

As I read this, I thought of my past business and personal life. It is then when I thought... MY GREATEST GLORY IS NEVER FALLING BUT I DID STUMBLE, BUT I CAUGHT MYSELF BEFORE A FELL COMPLETELY. AS I RECOVERED FROM THE STUMBLE AND POSSIBLE FALL, I LOOKED BACK AND SAW WHAT CAUSED THIS STUMBLING. THEN, AS I WALKED FORWARD, I ALWAYS PAID ATTENTION TO NEVER STUMBLING OVER THAT SAME ISSUE AGAIN.

WATER vs MANAGERS
WATER… In today’s environment, 99.5% of the Earth’s water is UNDRINKABLE - too salty, locked up in ice caps, or otherwise unusable or unreachable. That leaves just .5% to supply all our needs. Precious indeed!
MANAGEMENT… in today’s businesses, let's look at it as water... 99.5% are directed by Managers - WITHOUT their team working in a cohesive environment, being held accountable without proper training, being told what to do versus how to do it, or otherwise working in an unfriendly and uncomfortable environment. That leaves just .5% who are truly treated as a Team who works together in achieving what so many others do not accomplish.
So… are you and/or your company being driven by “Precious indeed” or by WATER MANAGEMENT?
