Most breastfeeding moms know how much work goes into every ounce. But one thing a lot of parents don’t realize? Breast milk composition naturally changes over time — and even throughout the day.

That’s why we offer an optional Nutritional Analysis add-on at Milkify 🍼

You’ll receive a breakdown of key nutrients in your breast milk, including calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates, giving you a deeper look at what your milk contains while still keeping all the convenience of our freeze-dried breast milk process.

For some families, it’s peace of mind. For others, it’s helpful for tracking feeding goals, supporting preemies, or simply staying informed during their breastfeeding journey.

And yes — your milk is still processed individually, never pooled, and handled through our SafeDry™ process designed to preserve the nutrients and antibodies your baby depends on.

Breastfeeding looks different for every family. We’re just here to make it a little easier, a little more flexible, and a lot less stressful.

🩵💛May is Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) Awareness Month and May 17 is NEC Awareness Day!

💔NEC is a leading cause of death for premature infants.
Mother’s own milk provides the most protection against necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). When mother’s milk is not available, pasteurized donor human milk is the next best option — which is why improving access to safe donor milk is so important.

How does protect against NEC?

➡️ Provides antibodies that boost the infant’s immune system
➡️ Supports the development of a healthy gut microbiome
➡️ Reduces inflammation in the gut
➡️ Science is still discovering all the incredible properties of human milk

At Milkify, we believe all families should have equitable access to the life-saving benefits of . By helping preserve and protect breast milk, we’re proud to support families and organizations working to improve infant health outcomes and build a world without NEC.

If you have breastmilk to donate, visit HMBANA.org

Tragically, some babies still develop NEC, even when they do receive human milk. Mother’s milk and donor milk protect against but do not eliminate the risks of NEC. That’s why researchers, clinicians, advocates, and organizations like the .society continue working tirelessly to advance NEC research, education, and advocacy.

There is an urgent need to advance NEC research, education, and advocacy. Join us in spreading awareness this month alongside the .society to and build a world where no family is devastated by this disease.

The .society is the world’s leading non-profit building a 🌍without NEC.
