Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi is on this Monday May 25 for its 28th annual ceremony at Ala Moana Beach.
Individual lanterns will be available from 10am -4pm on a first come basis.

Did you feel anything from the Earthquake?
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred about 7 miles to the east-southeast of Honaunau located in the South Kona area of Hawaii Island.
It has been reported that there is no treat of a Tsunami
UPDATE: The initial earthquake has been revised to a magnitude 6.0. A second, weaker magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred six minutes later.

BREAKING: No tsunami is expected following a magnitude 5.9 earthquake that occurred on the western flank of Mauna Loa Friday. ⬇️
