Since 2004, we have been “quietly helping” neighbors in crisis by working directly with local social service agencies to bridge the gap when it matters most.

As the cost of living continues to rise, many local families are facing increasing hardships. At Womanade, we strive to provide quick, discreet support to those in need. Thanks to the kindness of people like you, we have been able to make a tangible impact on our community. However, with the rising costs of food, rent, and utilities, the demand for assistance is greater than ever.

Womanade’s unique ability to respond within 24-48 hours has allowed us to help countless individuals and families. Whether it’s providing groceries to a struggling family, covering urgent medical expenses, or addressing a range of other needs, we are here to make a difference. Here’s a snapshot of just some of the impact we’ve had in 2024, thanks to your support:

* Stopped 11 evictions

* Assisted 6 victims of domestic abuse with expenses such as lodging, moving expenses, childcare, and more, helping them regain stability

* Helped 5 families with utility bills, preventing shutoffs

* Supported 5 local cancer patients with lodging/bills during treatment

* Partnered with local organizations such as Interfaith Social Services, DOVE, Hingham Food Pantry, South Shore Educational Collaborative, Hingham/Cohasset/Scituate Town Social Workers and local schools
