Exploring Deeper Roots in Facilitation On March 4th, I had the opportunity to speak with Elemental Psychedelics’ Psilocybin Mushroom Facilitator Training cohort, guiding a conversation on deepening our relationship with the land as a foundation for effective facilitation. Our connection to the natural world shapes essential qualities for holding space : openness, patience, adaptability, and the ability to ground ourselves in the unknown. The land teaches us to listen deeply, to question our narratives, and to recognize that our identity expands far beyond the boundaries of self. By cultivating a reciprocal relationship with the land, facilitators can anchor themselves in presence, fostering safer, more empowering spaces for those they guide.
