So my new Album "Little Moments Matter" is out now. People ask or you may be wondering yourself, "what does Denny mean, little moments matter?" We ll I explain in the Title Song off the album, but today is an example of what I mean by Little Moments Matter. This little guy is my Grandson Levi. He loves to help me in the yard so he was super excited this week with the weather being perfect for yard work. After finished after a solid two hours, I was standing in the garage and took my gloves off and placed them on the shelf where I keep them. He was watching, saw what I did and excitedly runs outside to his little wheelbarrow and grabs his work gloves and runs back in and says "My gloves Paca, away"...he wanted them on the shelf with mine. Little Moments Matter. But it didn't end there for me today. After school, Everett asked me to be QB so he and Nate could play football. I was beat after a 14,000 step day in the yard, but couldn't say no. Tossed a few then Gus, my 4 year old grandson said "I want to play". So I drew up a play, where a faked the pass to Nate, and handed the ball to Gus on a delayed Draw play. He executed perfectly and took off with the biggest smile on his face as he got to play football with his two older cousins. Little Moments Matter. Thanks for Following Denny Ritt Music — the new album Little Moments Matter is officially out!
All lyrics are 100% mine, and looking back at the track list, I realized something interesting… I tend to drift toward “holiday-ish” themes without meaning to.
I already have:
🎃 A Halloween song (The Tricker Treat Song)
🎄 Two Christmas songs (Jingle & Jangle, She Loves Christmas)
and on this album I have
🇺🇸 A Memorial Day tribute (Last Weekend in May)
🎉 A New Year’s resolution song (Fine Just The Way I Am)
💼 And even a Labor Day–ish anthem (Job Hunting Blues)
These stand out to me on this album for different reasons:
Last Weekend in May — about the real meaning of Memorial Day.
Fine Just The Way I Am — a playful look at how quickly New Year’s resolutions unravel.
Job Hunting Blues — sarcasm or reality? I’ll let you decide.

A month ago, I had a whole different plan for this album rollout.
Life changed it. That led to Where Grief and Love Collide, a single I wrote in honor of my sister. Your response to that song has meant the world to me—thank you.
This Friday, Little Moments Matter is finally here. Same heart, but with some light-hearted moments too. Two singles are already out: Little Moments Matter and Job Hunting Blues.
The album drops Friday on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube or wherever you stream your music. I hope you’ll check it out.

I’ve been writing quietly for a while now.
Some songs came from memories.
Some from uncertainty.
Some from moments that didn’t feel important at the time — until later.
Little Moments Matter is one of those.

Funny how music sneaks up on you.
I was testing a speaker at a store yesterday and played Jingle & Jangle. Before I knew it, a few people walking by were smiling and moving along to it.
Those little moments remind me why I love making music — especially this time of year.
If you need a little Christmas spirit today, Jingle & Jangle might do the trick.
