Spiritual fruit are the evidence of Holy Spirit within us. In my opinion, each are tied to a choice. Joy is tied to a choice of attitude. 3 things I’m leaving behind as I close year 30.
☝🏽People Pleasing: “a willing vessel is not a doormat”, God said this to me one morning in prayer. I truly love people and want to see them fruitful but the cost for that is NOT depleting myself.
✌🏽Unhealthy Habits: I bit my nails, ate whatever I wanted, exercised in case of emergencies and ran up a check every time I felt sad for the better part of my 20s. Dropped it all cold turkey this year because I couldn’t spend another moment sleeping on myself.
👌🏽 Fear:!As much as I encouraged others to get out there and go for what God has for them…I’ve been terrified of the potential to mishandle His people on the platform I’ve been given. But as a friend reminded me, POTENTIAL ISNT TANGIBLE. It’s time come out of hiding.
Looking forward to a lighter me in year 31.

There’s soooo much comfort in that. When faced with an unknown, remember that if fruition is the fire then faith is the starter stick.
The worry, stress, & confusion burn away when we replace our worldly understanding with faith. 💥
