This weather!!! Again got caught up in torrential downpours and even after “waiting it out” was drenched to the core. By then, when walking to the car, I had to wade through knee-deep “puddles”- about 2-3 minutes of wading. There were floating 2x4s, garden hoses, lots of other stuff that clearly came out of sheds and other people’s homes (I was an at event so the nearest home was across the street, across the parking lot). It was nuts! But hey, flowers in the morning ❤️🌻😊❤️ and safe so it’s all good…

Been a challenging summer as weather goes.. but here we are today, with a nearly full rainbow and a bit of a double showing up at the end. Was cool to see it form in the car- almost felt a bit like storm chasers. 🌈

Another day of my favorite things. Some amazing bites here- hand ground sesame tahini sauce with eggplant, black sesame tahini with crown mum, gyoza laced with thinly “I see you din tai fung and one up you” ginger, green onion studs.
