PrimoHoagies, located at 1304 West Chester Pike in Havertown, will celebrate its Grand Reopening under new ownership on July 15, 2026, with a community celebration from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:00 PM . The celebration will also feature a variety of special activities, including free hoagies for the first 100 guests in line at 4:00 PM, while supplies last. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Jihaad Campbell during a special meet-and-greet with photo opportunities available from 4:15–5:00 PM, while time permits.

Storytime Under the Trees is back for the summer! Join the Haverford Township Free Library on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. for outdoor storytimes at parks throughout Havertown.

This free program invites young children and their caregivers to enjoy stories, fresh air, and time together in some of our community’s beautiful parks. Registration is not required.

Storytime Under the Trees will take place at a different local park each week through September. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a morning of reading and connection outdoors.

Programs are weather permitting. On days with rain, excessive heat, or air quality concerns, Storytime Under the Trees will be moved indoors to the library. Check the library’s social media pages for any weather-related updates before attending.

We’ve also expanded our brush collection options to make disposal even easier. Be sure to review the collection guidelines today so you're ready for tomorrow's pickup!

Along with curbside composting, our new expanded brush guidelines go into effect on Monday, July 13.

Paper bags and grass clippings will now be accepted during brush collection.
