I started creating art and building anything i could as a way to heal. As a disabled infantry veteran, it was never easy to hold a job that was fulfilling or full-time. Other combat vets will know, we tend to pour our all into whatever we set our mind to. That can become extremely draining and stressful and quickly cause burnout. When I scuplted with clay for the first time and when I built my first table, it felt different. It felt relaxing even though it was physical and demanded focus. As it turns out, I am pretty darn good at it too. I have always wanted to do something I love as a living but that can be a scary thing. With the support of my family and friends and a group of paying customers that were kind enough to give me a chance, I am now able to pursue this dream.
