Pain in life isn’t without divine purpose. Our suffering allows us opportunity to encounter and know God in ways our hearts never would without it.

As we get ready to celebrate the Fourth, let’s think of the freedom we’re meant to enjoy in Jesus—true freedom! Sin entangles and destroys, chipping away at our identity and hiding who we truly are. Our shame convinces us we’re worthless, and nothing is further from the truth. You are more valuable than you can imagine! Jesus believes you’re worth dying for. And that death Jesus paid in your place empowers the victory over every bo***ge. Full stop. In Christ, you’ve been given the keys to live the truest version of you. You’ve been unshackled! Find your freedom—true freedom—in the loving face of Jesus.
