Our Cultivation
OurCultivation installs self-watering raised garden beds that make it easy for families, organizations, and communities across the CSRA to grow fresh, nutrient-rich food sustainably and with less daily effort.
It might not look like much right now, but every step is part of the process.
Preparing the land.
Taking care of it.
Getting it ready for what it can become.
Land is a blessing. It’s an opportunity to grow food, build something meaningful, and create something that can last beyond us.
One day the goal is to pass land like this down to our families.
A place where food can be grown, lessons can be shared, and the next generation can learn how to take care of the land and provide for themselves.
Because growing your own food is bigger than gardening.
It’s about health, knowledge, and legacy.
We were out on the land recently when we spotted something familiar poking up through the soil — wild garlic.
Growing on its own. Unbothered. Doing exactly what it’s been doing long before any of us showed up with a plan.
Wild garlic (Allium vineale) is one of those plants that grows quietly in fields, along fence lines, and in patches of untouched ground all over the Southeast. Hollow grass-like leaves, a mild but unmistakable garlic scent when you crush them, and small bulbs just beneath the surface. Chances are it’s growing somewhere near you right now.
That’s kind of the whole point for us at OurCultivation.
Food isn’t just something that comes in a package or gets planted in a row. It shows up. It persists. It’s already here.
The land has been providing long before grocery stores existed, and communities who knew how to read it never went without.
We’re out here learning to pay attention again. 👀
If you’ve ever spotted wild garlic or any wild edibles near you, drop it in the comments. We’d love to know what’s growing in your corner of the CSRA. 👇

Spring officially arrives on March 20th, and with it comes the start of a new gardening season!
While food can technically be grown year round, this is the time of year when gardens really start coming back to life. The weather warms up, the soil wakes up, and people begin thinking about planting again.
Every garden starts the same way. One seed. One bed. One decision to grow something real.
Whether it’s leafy greens, fresh herbs, strawberries, or backyard tomatoes, there’s something powerful about stepping outside and harvesting food you grew yourself.
If you’ve been thinking about starting a garden this year, now is the perfect time to begin.
If you’re in the CSRA area and ready to start your garden, let’s get you scheduled for a consultation.
OurCultivation - Professional Residential Gardening Services Empowering CSRA homeowners to grow fresh, healthy food through affordable raised garden bed installations and maintenance services.

Don’t be this guy watching the doctor read your chart like it’s a plot twist 😭 take care of your health today so your checkups stay boring.
We know the food we eat is terrible for our health… yet we still eat it.
We know some of the things we constantly watch are not good for our mental health… yet we keep tuning in.
We know our bodies need real nutrients, sunlight, and fresh air… yet we stay inside and grab what’s convenient.
We know stress is slowly wearing us down… yet we don’t always choose what brings us peace.
We know our children learn more from what we do than what we say… yet we struggle to model healthier habits.
At some point we have to stop just knowing better and start doing better. Our health, our minds, and our future generations are worth the discipline. 🌱
Long day today
Right now this is just open land, but we see raised beds, fresh vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, and families coming together to grow something bigger than food. This future community garden will be a place to learn, connect, and build healthier habits right here in our own neighborhood. We are planting more than seeds. We are planting opportunity, education, and unity. If you want to be part of bringing this vision to life, let’s grow together. 💚
