Updates about Gary
Gary is back in the hospital for a brief stay. He has had fluid in his chest since the surgery and they are going to drain it. He should not be in there for more than a couple of days. Otherwise he is doing well.
Gary is doing well. He had labs, an X-ray and rehab this morning and a doctor’s appointment this afternoon. Thank you everyone who has prayed for him and continues to pray for him.

Gary is coming home tomorrow!
Gary is doing well today. He has gotten 3 times with just me to help and we took a walk down the hall. He is doing so well he may be released to go home midweek!
Gary continues to do well. He got the chest tube out today. He feels like he has some energy. He also has been eating more the last few days. Hopefully he will get to come home soon.
Gary continues to do well. He got the chest tube on his right side and says he can already breathe better!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a couple of days. Gary is doing so much better today. He ate Wendy’s this afternoon. He may still Need a chest tube on the right side to drain some fluid but I was encouraged when his hemoglobin didn’t drop over night. Keep the prayers coming.
Gary is awake and alert this morning. He is eating a good breakfast. I’m encouraged seeing him eat more than he has since surgery. His hemoglobin is low so they are giving him a unit of blood. They did a ct scan last night to make sure he is not bleeding in his chest.
A little hiccup for Gary he is going back to the hospital from rehab for what they are calling a tuneup. I was informed that this is not uncommon and that he is still doing well. He also had fluid drained out of the right side of his chest. This fluid has been there since after his surgery. He is breathing easier with it gone. Thanks for all the prayers.
