Pharaohs Street Rodders

As early as 1952, the Pharaohs of Jefferson High School in Portland, OR, were part of the "fever pitch" of the hot rod movement.

​In the '50s, if you weren't part of a car club or into cars, you were "Square." The Pharaohs' clubhouse was located in North Portland at Gustin's Service Station; it was a place to gather and work on cars. record holder in the D-Stock at 71 MPH in his 1939 Ford Deluxe.  ...
