Thank you for your warm reception to the EP (Preserve Me) and your patience with me as I finish the full-length. Until then, keep listening to the EP and sharing it with friends and fellow believers that it might encourage. Blessings! -N

Friends- my new EP, Preserve Me, is out today! These four songs are based on Psalms 1, 29, 3 and 16 (with reference to Ps 2 & 24).
A treasure trove of goodness and truth, the Psalms delve into the full spectrum of human experience. Raw authenticity meets clear truth with beauty and wisdom, giving comfort and strength through God's grace. As you listen to the Psalms through these songs, know that God will answer when you call on Him with a humble heart. He is faithful to preserve and defend all of His children who place their trust in Jesus.
You can find the EP on all music platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Pandora, etc. If you enjoy it, spread the word!

Hey friends, Nathan here. It’s been a while since I personally checked in. If you are new here, I’d like to introduce myself…
I grew up in the Protestant church as a PK (pastor’s kid), and I put my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord when I was 5 years old. By God’s grace, I’m still walking with Christ today. I’m a husband to an amazing wife, a proud father of 3 beautiful children and a member of a local, Reformed church in Greenville, SC.
I’ve been writing songs and performing (Nathan Angelo) for twenty years now. For the past few years, I’ve desired to use my gifts to serve the body of Christ by putting the Psalms and other Biblical passages to music. The Word of God has been the greatest source of life and strength to me in my walk with Him, and I want to encourage my brothers and sisters to find life in His Word as well. Jesus said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matt 6:33).”
So I’ve been recording for the better part of 2025, and I’m excited to be at the point where I get to share these songs. I’ve released two songs already: “Salvation Belongs to the Lord (Psalm 3)” & “The Splendor of Holiness (Psalm 29).” I’m releasing a 4-song EP on Tuesday called PRESERVE ME. My hope is that these songs will encourage your faith and give you a hunger to know, read, sing and love God’s Word. Thanks for coming along and for listening to the music! -N

Our homes are a great place to worship the Lord. Lifting your voice to God should certainly not be limited to Sunday mornings at church.

I created a new playlist on Spotify of some of my favorite renditions of the Psalms. Here are some of songwriters that I have added and that have inspired me to join this Psalm-setting journey: Shane and Shane, Brian Sauvé,The Corner Room, Sandra McCracken, Citizens, and more. I plan to add more songs as I discover them. Maybe we will lock in all 150 Psalms at some point. Give it a ‘save’ and a spin! Link in comments.
