Congratulations to SCbio member company Zylo Therapeutics for their double-win at the C&T Alle Awards for cutting-edge advancements in cosmetic science! They received awards in two different categories for their groundbreaking innovations, including:

✨Ingredient Blend Award recipient in the anti-aging category with their Y100-loaded Z-pods, a new-age retinol product that performs better than retinol but without irritation and photo-sensitivity.
✨Ingredient Blend Award recipient in the sun protection category with their CBD-loaded Z-pods. This product was shown to reduce epidermal thickening and skin-DNA damage from the sun's UV rays, according to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

SCbio, in partnership with MassBio, has selected seven emerging life sciences companies to participate in the inaugural SCbioDrive Accelerator cohort.

🔬 Jaya Biosciences Inc. (Greenville, S.C.)
🔬 RephImmune Biotechnology (Taipei, Taiwan)
🔬 Torpedo Bio (Charleston, S.C.)
🔬 Vova Ida Therapeutics, Inc (VIT) (Jupiter, F.L.)

These startups will participate in business-focused curriculum modules taught by experts including Charles River Labs, Deloitte, Eli Lilly and Company, Maynard Nexsen, Medpoint, LLC, Inspire Agency and more. The program will end in November with a Demo Day in Charleston, S.C., where cohort companies will present to a curated group of potential investors and industry leaders.
