CARSTAR New Hope welcomed over 15 first responders from the greater Minneapolis area for a special NABC F.R.E.E.™ program, equipping teams with hands-on skills to safely rescue accident victims.

Attendees trained on high-strength steel, airbags, advanced restraint systems, onboard technology, and safety around alternative fuel vehicles—preparing them for real-world emergencies.

CARSTAR Tulsa – Mingo Valley Supports Recovery Students Through BeeLoved Trading 🐝🛠️

The team at CARSTAR Tulsa – Mingo Valley, led by Heather Kimbley and Randy Petty, actively stepped into the community to support BeeLoved Trading. They dedicated their time to preparing and cleaning bee boxes, directly contributing to the organization’s honey production program and providing recovery students with valuable hands-on work experience.

Beyond volunteering, they also donated truck repairs, ensuring BeeLoved Trading can continue its mission without interruption. Their efforts showcase the team’s commitment to meaningful service and highlight how local businesses can make a tangible, lasting impact in the community. 👏

🌟🌷 Spotlight on Sabrina Thring: Empowering Women in Collision Repair 🌷🌟

In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, CARSTAR is proud to highlight Sabrina Thring, Brand President for Collision at Driven Brands, who was recently featured in FenderBender in the article “Empowering Women in Collision Repair.”

Thring joined CARSTAR in 2015 to lead finance but quickly moved into operations when her potential was recognized by the then-CEO. She advanced through multi-site operations at another brand within Driven Brands and later became COO overseeing CARSTAR, Fix Auto USA, and Abra. In June 2023, she became President of Driven Brands Collision Group, overseeing more than 1,080 franchised locations across North America.

Her journey reflects determination, hands-on experience, and leadership, and she continues to inspire women in the collision industry to pursue growth, embrace challenges, and lead with impact. 👏✨

The highlight of the day: Sgt. Michael Whatley, an Arkansas National Guardsman, decorated combat veteran, and devoted single father, received a beautifully refurbished vehicle. This life-changing gift will help him care for his family and continue serving his community.
