"EXPLORING SPIRITUALITY THROUGH A NATIVE LENS" CLASS
This six-week series (5/21-6/25) will give you an unprecedented insider view into the metaphysical from a Native perspective. We will be focusing on spiritual teachings, rituals and wisdom that will give you practical tools to help you navigate your spiritual journey.

Although the major teachings will come from the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois/Oneida) ways, we will also access Indigenous wisdom from other Woodland tribes, as well as the Lakota, Hopi, Cherokee, Aboriginal and even ancient civilizations.

Weather permitting, we intend to have two local field trips during our class time where I'll take you onto the Oneida reservation connecting you to the land and to Mother Earth. You'll be given a rare opportunity to be inside one of our traditional housing structures called a Longhouse and participate in a beautiful welcoming ceremony. I'll also show you a little known hidden gem on our reservation where you can connect with the power of the buffalo.

There will also be some bonus presentations (fee-based) that will occur on weekends or evenings when we're not in class that will give you access to Native teachers/healers other than myself, allowing you a deeper dive into cultural topics and activities to enhance your overall learning experience.

I've designed this six-week class series so that at the very end you will have a whole new outlook on the Native viewpoint. We invite you to take that new awareness and join us for the Oneida Pow Wow which will occur Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6/26-6/28) at the Norbert Hill Center grounds. It's a feast for the eyes, a treat for the tastebuds (Indian taco anyone?) and a shopper's paradise featuring handmade goods from dozens of talented Native artists.

Thank you for considering this unique class offering. I look forward to connecting with you!
