Upstate Colorado Economic Development

The 2022 General Assembly adjourned late this spring after introducing a total of 716 bills this session. Roughly half of these bills passed. With control of the legislature by one party, much of our time and conversation was dominated by protecting the interests of business and the industry sectors that support our economy through the amendment process. As acting policy chair of the statewide Economic Development Council of Colorado - EDCC and member of the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, we are able to work with great lobbyists whose tireless work helps support Upstate Colorado’s interest in identifying the issues that affect your ability to do business in the region and the State of Colorado.
