Pat Daugherty, the architect of Indian Hills Baseball and a larger than life presence in professional baseball, has passed away at the age of 89.

The namesake of the home of Indian Hills Baseball, Daugherty amassed over 600 career wins while making two trips to the NJCAA JUCO World Series.

An American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Famer, Daugherty served as the first-ever scouting director for the Colorado Rockies, spending more than 20 years with the organization.
