Locks for Lilly

My first post apparently did not come thru on Satuday night.

Today was spent on the final tasks and organization of things for the Locks for Lilly head shaving event on Saturday. We still have a few things to do, but we will knock them out tomorrow evening and will be set for 1p Saturday.

We are also having, what my Mom brilliantly named the "Lilly Giving Tree." Make a donation of $25. Then pick a gold ribbon off the Lilly Giving Tree board. Whatever # is on your ribbon, will get you an envelope with the same #. In that enveople will be your "gift" which is of equal or more value of your $25 donation. We have:

🎟🎟🎟We will have a raffle for a couples stay in a suite at the Westin Hotel in Southlake, with dinner for 2 at Jellico's, along with a spa package at Corinthian Well spa, and a blue tooth speaker. Package is worth $1000. 🎟🎟🎟

🖌We will have rock and mask painting for kids and big kids. A photo area for some fun pictures. 🍦Cupcakes by Sarah and beer served by some funny and kind bartenders. 🍺

🚗Parking available in Hop and Stings parking lot. On the side streets around Hop and Sting. In The Rec's parking lot (2 minute walk). Or park at the VIN hotel across the street (4/5 minute walk), but your car will be parked in the shade. 😉😉

We are less than 2 weeks away from the event now. Pace has been pretty quick in the last month and we are about to start running. The support leading up to the Locks for Lilly event has been amazing! We HOPE that you come out to see what we are doing this year and be a part of our special day.

Locks for Lilly starts at 1p at Hop and Sting Brewery in Grapevine.
🍀Silent Auction w/mobile bidding. Just a few items in our auction: A gentleman's basket w/a bottle of Jack Daniels, multitools, and Yeti drinkware. A James Avery, angel necklace. Star Wars drones. Firepits. And local hotel overnight stay w/GCs to local activities and restaurants. Have that bidding finger ready to out bid others.
🍀Gold Ribbon GC Selection. Buy and a gold ribbon from our Gold Ribbon "tree" for $20. Whatever # is on the back of your ribbon you select will be the same # envelope given with your GC prize inside. You are guaranteed to get back at least $20 in gift cards, but it could be more. 😉 We have giftcards to Amazon, Bob's Chop House, Bread Zepplin, StarBuck's, Hop and Sting, Ifratelli's and more!
🍀For the kids or the kids are heart, we will have an activities table where you can paint rocks or face masks. We will also have some delicous cupcakes made by Sarah, for a small donation.
🍀Of course there will be head shaving! Come see some locks shaved off by one of our amazing volunteer head shavers! Don't want to shave your head? How about your beard you have been growing out for a while? Arms? Eyebrows? 🍀There will also be good beer to drink, served by some long time and Locks for Lilly supporting bartenders. They are SO great! Varqueros Texas BBQ food truck will be there too and they have got some delishisly tasty treats.
