Dream Team Angels Rescue

8 years ago, we rescued Aubrey from SBC. She was on the euthanasia list but an angel (her future foster mommy) stepped up to save her life. Aubrey’s story was a very horrific one. Our ACO friend Sedna told us about her. Aubrey had been abandoned in a house. She was pregnant and no puppies were found with her. She looked defeated and scared. This photo was Aubrey in her shelter kennel. She never came up to the kennel gates when adopters came by. She laid there, with her head always down.

Her foster mommy gave her the love and affection she needed. DTAR put her through a Zen Doggy training camp. Aubrey started gaining more confidence but she still had many issues making her unadoptable. So Aubrey became one of our first non senior pups to be inducted into Donatello’s Love Club~ where we provide our members love and medical care for as long as they have on this Earth. Aubrey is estimated to be around 12 years old now. She grew up with us as a DTAR pup. We are so proud of Aubrey for blossoming into such an amazing pup. A HUGE thank you to her foster mommy for making Aubrey’s journey such a loving and beautiful one. We are so grateful.

We have many Donatello’s Love Club members who are living long amazing lives because of our rock star foster pawrents. DTAR started out rescuing dogs to find amazing furever homes for them. We never intended on keeping any, but our rescue pups like Aubrey selected us, and we answered their calls. We strive to make their wishes come true, and we are so honored to be selected by our DLC pups ❤️
