Working on custom front doors today, and it had me reflecting on the significance behind them and how it is such a beautiful opportunity to place yet another detail that evokes a client’s personality. They set the precedence for what to expect upon entrance, a welcoming point into the heart of what is behind them, an entrance to the restful solace of home. Some are simple, some are lavish, but all provide the passage from outside to in. In my travels, I am always drawn to them. What are you drawn to on your travels?
