Celebrate Colorado Day at Colorado Mesa University!

This year marks a unique milestone: our 𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒍, the simultaneous celebration of Colorado's 150th anniversary of statehood and our nation's 250th birthday.⭐

To celebrate, CMU will officially unveil a 150-foot-tall flagpole by raising a 40'x80' American flag and a 1,876-square-foot Colorado flag.🤩 This flagpole was donated by Cody Davis and the Davis Family to continue honoring our military, veterans and their families on campus.

📍 CMU Plaza
⏰ 10 am — Presentation of colors by Central High School JROTC.
🎷 The ceremony will include live music from the military band Sentimental Journey and several other special features.
🌭 VanWinkle Ranch hot dogs will be served following the ceremony.
🆓 This is a free, community event presented by the Davis Family and Timberline Bank.
