I’m so excited to introduce you to this amazing woman—Mariko Wilcox, who will be leading our book club discussion today! Mariko is a Financial Advisor who is impassioned about communicating the concept of financial security.   Mariko carries the CFP® and CLU® designations, helping individuals, families and small business owners achieve their personal, professional and financial goals through planning that integrates investments, insurance, estate and tax planning. Mariko graduated Cum Laude in Economics from Connecticut College and has a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas.  She is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Ghana 1999-2001.  Mariko cares deeply about environmental stewardship and service to the community, she resides in Grand Junction, Colorado where she practices resource conservation in daily life, mountain bikes, swims and Nordic skis and volunteers on two boards.
