Many of you know me as Wing Man or Wing Doctor in the midwest music community :) My band, KongsWinger, is a play on the hometown where my paternal ancestors lived in Norway -- Kongsvinger. When my ancestors moved to the US, they took the last half of their hometown as their new surname, "Vinger" -- which Americanized to Winger.
