The Civic Conference Committee (CCC) invites Glen Ridge residents who are considering a run for Borough Council or Board of Education this November to apply for CCC endorsement.
If you’re ready to help build a stronger, more resilient borough — and you bring professional skills and a collaborative approach — we encourage you to complete the Candidate Information Form bit.ly/CCC2026Candidate by April 3, 2026.
The CCC is a non-partisan, volunteer committee made up of Glen Ridge residents representing a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and perspectives. Each spring, the committee interviews interested candidates in April, votes on endorsements in May, and supports endorsed candidates through the process of appearing on the Essex County Board of Elections ballot for the November 2026 election.
We do not promote specific policies or political positions. Instead, we seek to identify and endorse candidates who demonstrate strong qualifications, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to serving Glen Ridge in a thoughtful, non-partisan way.
If you care deeply about the future of Glen Ridge and want to contribute meaningfully to local leadership, we hope you’ll consider applying.
