Play some relaxing music
Fill a bowl with water.

Sit quietly and softly watch the surface of the water for a moment.

Take a few cleansing breathes, in through the nose and elongate your exhale...

Then gently place one finger into the water and notice:
โข the ripples
โข the movement
โข how one small touch changes the entire surface
โ
Notice how:
โข the water slowly settles after movement
โข the ripples soften when nothing else is added
โข stillness naturally returns when there is space

Sometimes the nervous system responds the same way.

Your nervous system is always responding to your environment, your thoughts, your stress levels, your sleep, your relationships, and even how much stimulation your body is taking in throughout the day.

When the body stays in survival mode too long, that energy often has nowhere to go. Over time, it can show up as:

Arms, legs, shoulders, jaw. Let the body move freely.

Inhale through the nose.

Notice 3 things you can see.
