Utah Boys State has been an incredible blessing in my life.

Several years ago, I was speaking at Salt Lake Community College. Ninzel Rasmuson was in attendance and approached me afterwards. I found out she was one of the state directors (now the director) for Utah Boys State.

She asked what it would take to have me come out and speak at the annual “Boys State” event. I told her to tell me when and I would be there. I didn’t quite understand the incredible opportunity I would be walking into.

Years later, this event is still a highlight for me every June at Weber State University.

It’s one of the premier programs nationally designed to educate our high schoolers about the proper role of government, our Constitution, and the underlying principles of freedom. If you have a high school student, I can’t encourage this program enough.

It was another great event today, and I couldn’t be more thankful. These young men care about liberty and give me great hope for the future.

Yesterday’s grand opening of Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream in Chandler, AZ was nothing short of spectacular.

Thank you so much for your incredible support. We served nearly 1,000 people our first day open, and I saw so many good friends there and made so many new ones. This is amazing and what I love so much - building relationships with good human beings.

We had people travel from as far south as Tucson (AZ), as far north as Sedona (AZ), as far east as Dallas, TX, and as far west as Yuma (AZ) and over to Los Angeles, CA.

Your support and friendship means so much!

Thank you to the Chandler Fire Department. They were amazing. They received a call during the grand opening, left with lights and sirens, and returned a short time later and then again in the evening. We love our first responders.

Thank you to Pinal County Sheriff Ross Teeple and his staff for coming out. He got the crowd going as he took in his ice cream. It was a blast. The Ice Cream Posse was amazing.

Thank you to Anne Hamill with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office who helped make this an incredible event, escorting General George and Martha Washington (lights and sirens) to our the ice cream tavern. That was simply amazing. Captain Joel Campa was so fun to have as a part of the Ice Cream Posse. We are going to do more fun events in the future. Guaranteed!

Thank you to Trio Fratelli who absolutely crushed it with their violins as they entertained our crowds. These three young men are fabulous.

Thank you to Ron and Gina Bellus for impersonating George and Martha Washington. Two of the best impersonators in the United States.

Thanks so much to Cindy Biggs who impersonated Cesar Rodney. That was a blast!

Thank you to Hans Van Den Elzen for playing Thomas Paine. Absolutely fantastic!

Thank you for the Daughters of the American Revolution! They showed up and had fun with us all day!

Thank you to Rod and Susan Shaver for bringing out the military vehicles that are on display all day. What a great addition!

Thank you to Bill Kell for displaying his sweet 2025 Corvette. That was classic!

Thank you to Don Dickinson, who was our point man and liaison in dealing with logistics all day long. He was moving non-stop.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the amazing youth that we employ. We have the best! These young people are leaders who love America, have exceptional people skills, and make us so proud. Thank you for being so kind to them and letting them shine as you came through. They worked their tails off during the grand opening!

Thank you to the nearly two dozen social media influencers who made such a splash in the virtual world. Your excitement for what we do meant so much to us!

Again, it was amazing to see so many family and friends there supporting the cause and falling in love with the colonial vibe and exceptional ice cream.

Last night was another great event in Gilbert, Arizona hosted by United Patriots AZ. I enjoyed speaking to such a great, energized crowd.

Sheriff Mark Lamb, congressional candidate for CD5 (AZ), spoke as well.

Also on hand was Hans Van Den Elzen who was so much fun impersonating Thomas Paine, along with Don Dickinson impersonating a Continental soldier. Promoting liberty shouldn’t be this much of a good time.

Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream catered the event, and their workers were just awesome as they served up great ice cream.

Gilbert Police Department was also present, and we thank them for providing security. Sadly, nut jobs who have no regard for the safety of adults and children who attended the event threatened harm. What a sad state of our political world.

I believe our best days are ahead!
