CHAMPIONS. 🏆💜🧡

Our Unity girls went 6-0 this weekend and brought home the championship at the USSSA Kentucky Chrome Invitational in Bowling Green, KY!
This team just continues to show how tough, connected and relentless they are every single time they take the field.

The championship game took extra innings and ended in storybook fashion with a WALK-OFF off the bat of Whitely Roberts ( #17) to seal it for our girls! Absolute ice in her veins.

As a team, our girls hit .398 on the weekend while our pitching staff completely dealt. Across the tournament, our pitchers faced 114 batters, allowed only 9 total hits and struck out 66 hitters. Just an unreal weekend from the circle.

More than anything, these girls are proving they belong among the elite teams around. The growth, toughness and confidence they continue to show is something special to watch.

This weekend was about more than softball, though. Our girls dedicated this tournament win to our close friend, Buster, as he continues his courageous fight against cancer.

Buster — the strength and fight you show every single day reminds our girls that no adversity is too big to face. We’re all behind you and fighting with you every step of the way. 💜

After a strong day at the park today going 3-0, scoring 19 runs while allowing only 5 runs, Unity returns tomorrow to finish out pool play!💪

Our girls batted .446 as a team and our 3 pitchers had a combined ERA of 1.846! 🔥

Our Unity girls went to Lexington this weekend and did what they do best — compete, fight and flat out dominate.

Huge shoutout to Elly and Big A for absolutely raking this weekend and hitting over .500 at the plate. And an even BIGGER shoutout to our pitching staff for putting on a clinic all tournament long.

Across 21 innings our pitchers faced 85 batters… and struck out 54 of them. Read that again. 😳
