LONG BUT EXCITING NEWS AHEAD

First, the Miss Garrett Junior / Junior Teen / Teen Pageant has had an exciting opportunity come along that we just couldn't pass down! Later last year, I was reached out to by the Director of the Indiana State Festival Association Queen/Princess Scholarship Program asking more about our program. She informed me that if our festival (The Garrett Heritage Days Festival) was a member of the Association, our Teen winner would be eligible to Compete in their State Pageant! I informed the GHD Committee and they graciously joined the association giving our Teen this amazing opportunity! With that being said, our Miss Garrett Teen 2026 will have the chance to compete at the Miss Indiana State Festival Association Pageant Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Greenfield Central High School!!

Lastly, with paperwork available, the question always gets asked, “What is the entry fee?” For years, our entry fee has stayed the same, but not this year! In hopes of getting our participation numbers up and to lower the financial burden, the Pageant entry fee this year has GONE DOWN from $75 to $50!! We encourage our contestants to look for sponsors as well. While the entry fee has gone down, the Pageant has gotten more expensive to organize, so with that, I am asking for help! The Miss Garrett J/JT/T program is having a virtual fundraiser. Down below you will see our “Summer Calendar” Most Facebook members have probably seen this before, but if you haven't, I’ll explain. Each day represents a dollar amount. For example if you select “May 7th” you are donating $7 towards the program, “May 30th” would be $30 towards the program and so on. Just comment below what month and day you would like, and I will update the calendar every couple of days! You can reach out through Facebook or Email to find a pick up date that works if you prefer to donate via cash or check, or Venmo the dollar amount you have selected. All proceeds will go towards making this pageant as great as possible! Thank you!

🐰🥚Psi Iota Xi - Annual Easter Egg Hunt🥚🐰

All three of our queens, as well as Miss Garrett 2025, had the opportunity to help and even participate at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Alpha Rho Chapter of Psi Iota Xi! While Adri (Miss Garrett Teen 2025) & Tatum (Miss Garrett 2025) announced the raffle winners, Lilly (Miss Garrett Junior 2025) & Riley (Miss Garrett Junior Teen 2025) showcased prizes.

While their reign will soon come to an end, the girls look forward to being as busy as possible in their community! If you or your organization has an event that you would like the queens to attend and/or help out at, reach out!!

Our Miss Garrett Junior, Junior Teen, and Teen, had the privilege of participating in the fashion show at Millers Merry Manor. They got to walk the runway, socialize with residents, and serve drinks and snacks. Adri, Lilly, and Rylie are grateful to get out in the community any chance they get!
