At CBF we believe that artisans, particularly those in developing countries, who exercise creativity and skill in designing and producing beautiful, hand-crafted items should be supported and appreciated for their work. We are driven by a commitment to helping others, creating connections between people, and highlighting the beauty that exists around the world. We have partnered with a select group of international artisans – friends – whose work we truly admire and whose stories we want to share. As you browse the products on the CBF site, we encourage you to visit each artisan partner’s story page to learn more about the people who create the stunning products you see. We hope you will feel a sense of connection with the artisans and consider the products to have been crafted by friends. All of CBF’s policies, practices, and standards are aligned with fair trade principles. We expect our artisans to provide safe, suitable working conditions and to be as considerate of the environment as possible when creating their products.
