For this month, we are featuring one of our Flight Instructors, Daniel!
Here's what he has to say about his journey:

"I started my training back in Georgia to obtain my PPL. My dad was a fighter pilot at the time and convinced me to try a discovery flight after I finished playing baseball in college, and I loved it! I moved to Alaska for a year and a half to continue my training and gain experience with the state’s challenging weather and terrain. After that, I instructed in Georgia and Arkansas for about a year before moving to DC to join Pilot in Training.

I have an amazing group of students here who remind me every day why I love instructing. I wouldn’t want to be a CFI anywhere else! Outside of aviation, I travel around the country to compete in car racing events. I also love golfing and pretty much anything outdoors. I recently bought my own plane as well, which has been an absolute blast!"
