After demolition, the next step in the construction process is framing. Depending on the scope of your project, we might excavate and pour concrete to create the foundation of your deck or home addition. Then we assemble the rough framing of the job, think of this stage as forming the backbone of your new space!

Once we’re ready to begin construction, we install protective equipment such as silt fencing, floor coverings, and dust barriers to insulate your neighbors and your living space from any building debris. Then, any existing structures that will be updated during your project are broken down and disposed of. Oftentimes, there are salvageable materials so we always make sure to consider where they could be reused.

After we’ve walked through your space and feel confident that we understand your goals for your project, we start the design phase – where our architect will create detailed drawings that align with your vision and abide by local building codes. Because we are a design-build firm, the creation of your architectural drawings happens in-house – allowing us to maintain seamless communication and keep you updated throughout the process.
