We cannot wait for this event hosted by our fellow IA orgs, ILP at UF and UF Innovation Academy Ambassadors, in 3 days! With food trucks and fun activities planned, this is sure to be an even to remember and we are looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday, 6-9pm at Flavet Field!

Jerry DeClasse was a member of the inaugural class of Innovation Academy and co-founder of LEAD by IA. He was known as a leader and mentor with dreams to start his own business.
During his time as a student, he was actively involved in the start-up Gainesville community and served as an ambassador for the Innovation Academy.
Unfortunately, in January of 2015 DeClasse passed away after a hit-and-run. Today we continue to honor his positive spirit and contributions to this community by giving an award in his name every year.
