40 Cornish Cross came to the farm today. 🐓🍗 As much as we love ❤️ our animals 🐖🐄🐥🐑 around here, we do raise some for food. 🍽️These are intended to fill our freezer. But while they’re with us they are taken great care of and loved. ❤️💙💜
For those out there who can’t believe 😱I raise meat animals and pet animals and don’t understand ⁉️how I can butcher the meat ones, I just tell them that they eat meat 🍗🥓🥩🍖 also. And the meat that we raise on our farm are much better taken care of than factory chickens 🐓 that you buy at the grocery store. I keep my meat animals separated from our pets and mentally 🤯 try to not get attached.
I do not apologize if this offends anyone.

One of our Happy Place Farm tumblers traveled to Curaçao. We sort of think iguanas would be a good fit at the farm. What do you guys all think?
Let’s see how many places you guys can take our tumblers to this year! Take a picture of them on your trips with you and send the pictures to us. We would love to see them.
We still have a select few colors of tumblers available if you would still like to purchase one. Just reach out to us.

‼️UPDATE TO INTAKE AVAILABILITY‼️
We are currently unable to take in any more pigs until we get some adopted out. We are full. We have no more room for them, and we can’t financially afford any more right now without help.
If you, or anyone you know, is looking to adopt a pig, please reach out. We’ve got lots of sweet pigs that need adopted.
We are also no longer taking in LGDs. We’ve had too many that we’ve taken in that aren’t nice, don’t get along with the farm animals, and several that have killed chickens and cats. People aren’t honest when they surrender (not everyone) and that’s a risk we aren’t willing to take at our farm. We have to keep the safety of our current herd/flock first. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We do have room for most other farm animals, except the pigs and dogs.
If you need to rehome your farm animal, please reach out. We will possibly be able to help you either find a great home or take in your animal at our rescue.
There’s no judgement from us. We understand life happens. We would rather you accept the fact that you can no longer take care of an animal than keep it and not take care of it properly.
Please reach out by either sending a PM to the farm page or texting 724-372-4993.
We also take donations of any kind. We are a private rescue. Not a nonprofit. So all funding comes from our own money.
If you’d like to help out you may do so in the following ways.
****donte any used shelters, fencing, feeders, food or any item you may think we could use. Just ask.
****shop from our wishlist at the following link

****donate via Venmo here

As always, we thank everyone for your continued support.

The irony behind this picture!!!!
This is Dakota, my Blackbelly Barbados Ram. Some days he chooses to ram me and I have to kick his head as to ram him back. And some days he’s my best friend. I don’t fault him because he rams me on occasion. That’s what he does. He’s ultimately the sweetest boy and so loved.
