Happy Tails, Sassy & Baby! When Sassy and Baby arrived at our shelter, life had not been easy for them. These two sweet girls had simply fallen on hard times. Today, their journey takes an exciting turn as they head to one of our incredible rescue partners in New York. There, they'll receive the extra TLC and medical care they need before beginning the final chapter of their story, finding loving families to call their own. A heartfelt thank you to Journey Home Rescue Alliance for once again stepping up for animals in need and for finding a wonderful placement for these deserving girls. Bio: Ziva is a 3-year-old Shepherd who came to us after the unexpected passing of her owner. Through no fault of her own, she now finds herself looking for a new home and a new person to lean on. This beautiful girl is everything you hope for in a Shepherd: strong, intelligent, observant, and strikingly gorgeous. Ziva carries herself with quiet confidence and maturity. At 3 years old, she is past the puppy chaos and into that steady, more seasoned stage of life where she understands how to settle in and read her environment. She is sweet-natured and thoughtful, taking time to assess new situations before fully engaging. Once she trusts you, she shows her softer side, seeking connection, companionship, and reassurance from her people. Ziva would thrive in a home that understands Shepherds and appreciates their loyal, watchful nature. She’ll do best with structure, guidance, and a calm environment where she can feel secure. What she needs now is someone willing to give her the stability she lost and in return, she will offer devotion, presence, and the kind of steady companionship only a Shepherd can give.

Bio: Redmond is a 5-month-old hound/cattle dog type mix. He came to us after a change in his young life. His previous owner did start him off on the right track, getting his baby vaccines underway, but ultimately realized they weren’t ready for the commitment that comes with raising a puppy. Now Redmond is with us, ready for a second chance at a home that can guide him all the way through this important stage. Redmond is sweet, well-socialized, and enjoys being around people. He has a friendly, open personality and seems to take new experiences in stride. At his age, he’s still learning everything, from manners to routines but he’s already showing a great foundation of confidence and curiosity. With a consistent home, basic training, and plenty of positive direction, Redmond is the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, fun, and well-rounded companion. He’s ready to leave the shelter behind and step into a future where someone is ready to finish what was begun, and give him the stability he needs.

Bio: Popsicle is a 6-month-old black Lab puppy who is currently in that unmistakable “all legs, no coordination” stage of growing up. This girl is a classic young Lab, goofy, affectionate, and absolutely convinced that every person she meets is her new best friend. Popsicle doesn’t really wait to be invited into your space… she assumes she belongs there. And honestly, she’s usually right. She loves people and is very forward about it. Expect happy energy, a little wiggle, and yes some enthusiastic yapping when she’s excited to get your attention. It’s not noise for noise’s sake; it’s her way of saying, “Hi. I love you. Please acknowledge me immediately.” Popsicle is still learning her manners and growing into her body, so she’ll need a home ready for puppy energy, basic training, and plenty of direction. But she’s also exactly the kind of dog who will thrive with structure. She’s eager, social, and highly motivated by human interaction. If you’re looking for a happy, people-loving puppy who will keep you smiling (and probably laughing at her dramatic attempts to fit her whole self into your lap), Popsicle is looking for a home.

Holly has gentle presence and an “old soul” kind of personality that makes her easy to be around. She carries herself with quiet maturity and seems to take everything in stride. There’s nothing frantic or pushy about her, just a soft, steady girl who is content to observe, lean into kindness, and enjoy a little reassurance from her people. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention, but quietly wins it over time. Holly would likely do best in a home that appreciates her mellow nature and is ready to give her the comfort and consistency she deserves after ending up on her own.A sweet, serene girl ready for her next chapter.
