Out with the old and in with the new…
Parts installed:
- Hybrid Racing Performance Shifter Cables
- MBRP Exhaust (Carbon center tip with Burnt Stainless tips)

Parts not installed (yet):
- Laile Beatrush Mid Floor Performance Bar

So this part won’t fit the USDM model as is, BUT I have a feeling if I can move the V***r Canister underneath the rear passenger seat it’ll fit. So I’m thinking longer bolts with spacers to position the box just a half-inch lower OR some custom bracket to move the canister a bit out of the way.

I’ve looked at the JDM v***r canister and that would work but I don’t know if it’s compatible with US emissions. I’ll try unbolting it and seeing if I can squeeze in the bar and bolt it all back up since I already have the Beatrush brackets in place.
Stay tuned…

Done: Verus Engineering 10th Gen Civic Master Cylinder Brace

Noticeable? YES, the firewall deflection is gone and brake pedal feel is definitely improved. This is a worthwhile mod and doesn’t require the 27WON front strut tower brace (for those that may have other branded tower bars).

Time to install? Took me about 30mins. Had a rivet nut gun on hand and LUCKILY didn’t drop anything into the abyss that is the FK8 engine bay.

Next up… the Verus Engineering FK8 Air-Oil Seperator (I’ll have to temporarily move my Flex Fuel kit on the firewall to get this installed - the rivet nut uses a hole behind it).

FK8 has been back together, this is is a slightly old picture - been chasing down an O2 sensor issue currently: P0133 - B1S1 Slow Response. Naturally no place has it in stock locally, but found a dealer to ship one to me for under $200. Now I’m just waiting on it to show up so I can throw it in and be rid of the drivability and terrible gas mileage.

Next up? Great question… RV6 has released their anti-surge bits for the turbo, but I’d have to send mine and purchase just the updated bits OR buy a new unit with the piping, which is pricey (all things compared). Or I can upgrade my fueling OR upgrade the intake manifold with the PracWorks carbon manifold. Decisions, decisions… more to come
