DR. DRE AND I learned a lot together. He knew some things that I didn’t know, and I knew some things he didn’t know. But we BOTH learned from experienced recording engineers who taught us everything we knew by giving us the chair to twist our own k***s. My guy was Rick Rooney from Planet Dallas. Anytime I came into the studio, he moved aside and gave me the board because he knew I wanted to learn everything about the recording and mixing process. I saw the same tutelage between Dre and Donovan Sound, who also taught ME more🙏🏾🧘🏽‍♂️😮‍💨🖐🏾
