Here is the weekly wrap up for the Mortgage and real estate market. It was a bad week for stocks, but a great week for safe haven investing vehicles such as bonds. The 10 yr treasury bond fell to the lowest levels in 2025, and with the market uncertainty the implementation of the tariff's have caused, this could bode well for the continued trend in the overall lowering of interest rates for home buyers. In contrast to the positive trend on rates, the negative affect of the tariff's could be a sharp increase in the cost to purchase a home.
