From historic chapel acoustics to a contemporary gallery setting, each night offers a distinct listening experience.

The DaPonte String Quartet is excited to announce our annual High School String Quartet Workshop, taking place October 23–25, 2026.

This free, weekend-long program brings together motivated high school–aged string players from across Maine for focused chamber music coaching, collaborative rehearsal time, and a culminating performance. Students should be comfortable preparing a movement of Haydn or Mozart and eager to deepen their ensemble skills.

We’ve scheduled the workshop later in the fall to avoid conflicts with sports and homecoming.
