Author Hope

e end of 2018 to continuing her passion writing and is currently working on a book about her time in Saudi. She's also currently loving her time as a rideshare driver with Uber. She hopes to one day write an eBook about her experiences with that adventure as well. Hope initially fell in love with writing by way of poetry; however, once in college she discovered a love for writing in general. Although she never imagined that her first book would be one about her journey through cancer, she hopes her story will inspire others and promote ovarian cancer awareness. Hope Aguilar is a proud parent of an adorable cat that she adopted, along with her cat's sister that passed away in 2020, while in Saudi Arabia. She loves her family and friends and carries God in her heart always. Hope's plans for the future are to continue to not just live but also to thrive. She has gone through cancer not once, not twice but three times now and her hope is that she will only continue to be in remission with no evidence of disease (NED) while remembering that no one knows what tomorrow will bring, which is why she does her best to be grateful for each day she's given. Her passions in life are traveling traveling and traveling... to say the least. She loves how traveling is an education in of itself and the beauty of not just seeing new amazing places but also the amazing people you meet along the way. Although she lost her mom to covid in 2020 she is thankful to have had so many years with her. She contributes a lot of her strength to the strength her mom showed her and her siblings while raising them by herself as a single mother. Without a doubt life hasn't always been the easiest for Hope Aguilar, most especially over the past five years; however, she has never given up her luster for life and thinking of ways to do more in it. She is not just a writer but is also an advocate for ovarian cancer awareness and is in the process of starting a podcast as another way of edutealcating the world about ovarian cancer with the hope that lives can be saved.
