Happy National Nutrition Month! NNM was founded in 1973 it became a month-long observance in 1980. NNM focuses on helping the public make informed choices about food and physical activity. This year's theme is Beyond the Table, to me that means appreciating where our food comes from like local farmers markets and getting outside. What does this mean to you?

Hello. hi. Happy new year! I spent my winter break relaxing and gearing up for my final clinical and food service rotations. I’m at the same hospital for both and so far I love it here, the people are super nice and helpful. In just one day I’ve walked the floors, met patients, and learned so much about the FS department. I was so nervous leading up to this but my nerves are starting to calm down, I’m so excited to see what I can accomplish while I’m here.

Life update!: finished my specialty rotation at a local GI clinic and absolutely loved it. My preceptors were so supportive and fun to work with. Enjoyed a nice two week break 😮💨 and then spent 4 days at WIC, I really enjoyed my time there and could see myself in that role. Also— I’m getting married soon! 🎉 just picked up the marriage license and had my bridal shower over the weekend 💍🤍 off to private practice and that concludes fall 2023! Two more semesters to go!!
