And the progress continues for the dining nook table. On this piece of furniture, I went ahead and painted the frame and legs black and used my paint sprayer to paint the table top white. I was able to put the X’s in as well as attach the top today. Tomorrow morning I will finish this one off by putting in the top coat for a nice layer of protection.

Howdy y’all, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to post about being in the shop and boy have I missed it! I am currently working on two different tables, a dining nook table and my very first square table. I’ve been using my Bluetooth speaker to play some great tunes and have enjoyed the company of my
I’ve really put my tools to the test with all the planing, cutting and sanding that I’ve had to do for these projects, especially with them sitting for 6 weeks. I’m glad that and makes such high quality tools. Stay tuned to see more on the assembly and the finishing steps of these two tables!

I was able to complete this awesome Farmhouse Dining Nook Table that a client had sent me a picture of. I think it came out great!
It is bar stool height of 37” tall and a staggering 84” long. I finished it with General Finishes Snow White milk paint and their walnut stain to accompany it. I used the HomeRight super Max finish sprayer to paint the frame and it did a fantastic job at getting all the difficult angles with ease. Also if you have a chance to use 8 hole 5” sanding disks, than you would greatly benefit from it because they are far superior in terms of longevity to a certain more popular red Home Depot brand.
Stay tuned later this week for the pictures of this table in it’s new home!

Well I’m happy to say that we were able to move our new entertainment center in our home and it looks great! Unfortunately due to some timing restraints, I haven’t been able to make the doors and attach the sliding barn door hardware... yet... but I will as soon as I can!

How do you guys feel about sawdust and snowflakes?? Haha today was a cold day to be working outside but when’s it’s time to work, then there is no time to pitter patter.
One of these days I will either make or purchase the dust collection attachment for my PORTER-CABLE planer so that I don’t have to clean up such a big mess. But if you haven’t had a chance yet to get yourself then I highly recommend that you do! I was able to clean all of this up, no problem and not at the expense of my Bosch Professional Power Tools and Accessories vacuum system.
I am also glad that my amazing daughter was willing to help me out today by shoveling part of the driveway while I was working. Do your kids ever help you with your chores or keep you company while your working?
